Welcome to ESP Central

ESP Central is a company limited by guarantee that exists to promote the sharing of knowledge between people who don’t usually meet. Primarily focused on UK work, we are also involved in a number of projects for the EU, and are also involved with the HEPTech network, through CERN, in Switzerland.

We have been responsible for the running of the Electronics, Sensors, Photonics Knowledge Transfer Network and a number of Special Interest Groups (Internet of Things, Energy Harvesting, Connected Digital Economy, Energy Efficient Computing, e-Infrastructure, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, Forensic Science, Smart DC) for the Technology Strategy Board. Additionally, we ran a number of projects for the Research Councils and the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
